Guildford resident and Music Engraver Steve Reading has announced that his new venture -
WMPSMusic Edition, is now ready for orders.
Steve is a recognised expert in the use of the music typesetting software 'Sibelius', and has worked for many years in the music business, preparing works for stage, screen and concert hall.
The focus of this enterprise is to re-engrave well known and loved scores that are, by and large, in dreadful condition, and to make musicians' lives more bearable when they perform them.
The initial thrust will be to make available the many scores that are beloved at 'Opera Gala Night' concerts.
These will be followed by 'Viennese Classics' such as the waltzes polka, quadrilles etc. of the Strauss family and their contemporaries.
Also available are symphonic repertoire scores including Beethoven, Brahms and Dvorak, all in new editions.
